Rieka and Akina

This is probably past deadline....
I've been having internet issues, so I'm behind in everything.


Anyway, this is for 's contest
It's her character, Rieka and a character I designed for the contest, Akina.

Background info:

She's stuck in and odd place in society, not quite peasant, but far from nobility as well.

She tries to act like a composed individual who always behaves with elegance and grace. In reality, however, she's often much less refined, awkward, and clumsy. She's kind, but has a temper like an ox, she doesn't always know how to keep her opinions to herself, and she's often saying the first thing that come to her mind, despite who is around.

Generally, she is weary of demons due to her first encounter with one, which didn't leave a good impression. He posed as a traveling human, and was able to trick her into helping him steal some of her family's treasures. She vows to everyone who will listen that he is her nemesis, but deep down there is a part of her that is intrigued with him.
